Back in early January, we told you about the stellar Watersnake single from singer-songwriter Scott Hardware. This week, the Toronto-based artist returned with a new song, and we couldn’t wait to share it with you.

“Love Through the Trees” simmers with delicate acoustic guitar and lilting string sections before building into something more feverish, Harwood says: “This is a love song! The night I wrote it, I was in a mad rush against my own urge to self-censor – the lyrics bare no mystery or even much poetry. More than that, they’re honest in a way that STILL makes me uncomfortable.”
