Back in August of last year, Toronto singer-songwriter Keegan Powell released his exceptional How Does Happiness Feel single on the masses. Now the former Teenage Kicks member is back with a new song called If It’s Good For Your Heart and an upcoming album announcement.
The new sophomore-effort Fear Be Gone was recorded with grammy-winning producer Matt Snell (Dua Lipa, The Flatliners) in an abandoned cottage on the Kawartha Lakes where they formulated an MTV Unplugged, acoustic, punk rock sound.
“Thematically, Fear Be Gone was a personal ideal created to aspire to. A version of one’s self that would maneuver through the world incredibly freely, without hesitation or doubt. I wanted to idealize a state in which someone could see a world like that through their own eyes. The album is a journey through that process,” Keegan shares.
