Pink Blob – “Friday Rocker”

Pink Blob is the moniker of Morgan Waters and Spencer Cole, both former members of Toronto experimental-pop outfit Weaves. Last week the “hyper-rock” duo released their new self-titled debut effort on the masses. We’ve had this thing on repeat over the last few days, and now it’s time to share standout track Friday Rocker with you.

Speaking on the new single, Waters explains: “The lyrics started with a Melissa Etheridge reference and unfolded from there, a song about aging but not wanting to grow up. A song about finding common ground with my dad who loves smoking weed and turning up the stereo till his eyes water.”

Check it out in the embed below, and be sure to hit up the rest of the album here. Trust us when we say … you won’t be disappointed.
