It’s no secret we’re big fans of Toronto art-rocker Jane Inc. (aka Carlyn Bezic of U.S. Girls and Ice Cream). Over the last few months, the singer-songwriter has dropped some unforgettable singles. Today, she’s back with her final song ahead of her album release.
“This is a love letter to an audience, and a song about yearning for the performing self — the self that is anonymous in a crowd, and mysterious, glamourous, and performative. It came to me while applying makeup.”
Listen to Human Being in the embed below, and be sure to hit up her socials for more. The new record Faster Than I Can Take is out this Friday via Telephone Explosion Records.
In other news, Carlyn plays The Garrison in Toronto with Slash Need on May 6th … grab your tickets here.
