Toronto experimental-synth-wave outfit Mr. Joy recently came up on our radar, and we couldn’t be more stoked about their sound. Today, they’ve shared the first single, Temptation, from their upcoming EP. It’s a smooth, laid-back number that will definitely leave you looking for more … we can’t take this thing off repeat here at The iM.

Singer-songwriter and multimedia artist Blob recalls, “The songs from “Yes! Yes! Yes!” were written for a live performance first, which is not how we normally work. It’s definitely mellower and more of an ambient vibe. On this album we got into the idea of dub mixes, resampling ourselves a lot more and making grooves out of the pieces.”
