This past Friday would have marked the 74th birthday of music legend David Bowie, and just yesterday, the fifth anniversary of his untimely passing at the age of 69. Like only a handful of artists before him, the world-renowned singer-songwriter really had an impact on musicians and artists over his entire six-decade career. Heck, even if you’re not a musician or artist, it’s hard not to get behind his work and the legacy he left behind.

That being said, we’ve compiled a list of our favourite David Bowie cover songs. You’ll probably be familiar with some of these classics, but if you’re newly introduced to only one today, we’ve done our job here at The iM.
