Over the last few weeks Toronto First Nations “moccasin-gaze” artist Zoon dropped a couple of new singles on the masses: Astum and Oil Pastel/Dope Sick. Now the singer-songwriter is back with the full EP, and we couldn’t wait to share it with you.
“Big Pharma is about me trying to bring awareness about the pharmaceutical industry and their lies,” says Zoon. “I talk about how they destroyed my community of Selkirk Manitoba and many more small towns and cities. A whole generation completely changed in just a matter of five years, Families torn apart and loved ones lost to addiction and overdoses.”
Listen to the EP in its entirety below, and be sure to hit up their socials to show some love. Zoon plays The Great Hall in Toronto on July 6th and 7th with Canadian noise-punk legends Fucked Up … grab your tickets now.
