It’s no secret we’re big fans of singer-songwriter Julianna Riolino. Earlier this year, the Toronto-based artist re-released her exceptional debut EP. Now she’s back with an Americana-inspired single from her upcoming debut full-length, and after just one listen we’re hooked.
The press release had this to say about the new song: “Lone Ranger perfectly encapsulates Riolino’s ability to reenvision the warmest strands of musical sepia and put her own individualist stamp on them. Thomas Hammerton’s honky-tonk piano romping over the rippling rhythm and buzzsaw guitar. The song’s urgent independence plays throughout the record, Riolino for better and worse taking sole ownership of her place.”
