Last month, New Brunswick post-punk trio Motherhood released Shepherd on the masses; the second single from their forthcoming long-player. Now the band is back with another song, and this one picks up right where its predecessor left off: leaving the listener wanting more.
Tabletop will be included on their upcoming album, Winded, due for release on June 24th via Halifax-based label, Forward Music Group. The new record follows 2019’s Dear Bongo, and was self-produced by the band alongside Kyle Cunjak (The Olympic Symphonium, Force Fields) and mixed by Deerhoof’s Greg Saunier. It also features additional vocals by Julie Aubé, Katrine Noël, and Acadian space-folk trio Les Hay Babies.
