It’s difficult to put into words the impact We Were Promised Jetpacks had on the early days of The iM. Their seminal 2009 album These Four Walls was on constant repeat at the time. With songs like Conductor and Quiet Little Voices, how could you go wrong?

Today, the boys dropped a new single on the masses. The track follows their 2018 album The More I Sleep The Less I Dream and a string of stellar singles last year.

Lead singer Adam Thompson on the new song: “I feel that ‘If It Happens’ expresses a lot about what I had been trying to get across to myself. It was all part of my new mindset of trying to be more positive about what I have and not always thinking about what I don’t. It’s about embracing the idea of happiness, doing what you can to encourage it and generally be a lot more ‘c’est la vie’ about everything. If it happens, it happens; if it doesn’t, it doesn’t. What can you do?”
