Vancouver art-rockers Blessed recently came up on our radar, and we’re certainly glad they did. Their latest single Structure has been on heavy rotation over the last few days, but more importantly, you need to know about their EP, iii.
Each track on the upcoming 4-song effort was mixed by a different producer, including Corin Roddick from Purity Ring, John McEntire of Tortoise, Graham Walsh of Holy Fuck and the band’s very own Drew Riekman. A stellar lineup, to say the least.
“Structure’ deals with complacency and failing to explore the depths of your actions compared to the words you espouse and values you proclaim to have. If you can’t acknowledge your imperfection and flaws, you don’t leave room to listen and grow. If you’re always trying to teach, you can’t be taught.”
