For as long as we can remember, we’ve been fans of Toronto singer-songwriter Kat Burns. Every so often, she pops up with a new KASHKA release, and it’s difficult to contain our excitement here at The iM. Just recently, she dropped Soft on the masses, and we can’t wait to share this delicate number with you.

“It is a handful of strange and vulnerable songs that I really feel I want to give to the world these days. These songs were written (and still being written) during some major downer vibes this year. I was truly looking into a black hole and didn’t know what the future held. I usually turn to music in these times, but even that felt meaningless. Frivolous. It felt like there was nowhere to turn to. Thankfully now, many months later, I am coming back to feeling like myself again and I feel so grateful.“
