🎧 Middle Part – ‘Heartbeat’

Middle Part is the moniker of Brooklyn-based synth-pop artist Andrew Selkōw. We recently came across his new single, and this thing has been on some serious repeat ever since. It’s a real hypnotic number that hits in all the right places. Now, it’s time for you to hear what we’re talking about.

“It’s supposed to paint a picture of me watching myself fall apart. The song is centered around that chaotic feeling somebody in their 20’s can feel when they’re learning to navigate life or what  “the point of it all ” is. “Heartbeat” is a collage of separate experiences of isolation and an internal dialogue stretching from Nashville, Alaska, and New York.”
