📀 The iM: Volume 10 (2011)

It’s been a minute since we dropped a mixtape from The iM vault, but the wait is over on this Monday afternoon. This particular playlist was curated sometime in 2011 and represents an eclectic mix of bands and sounds.

You can expect to hear music from Canadian indie-rockers Elephant Stone, Small Sins and Les Jupes. You’ll also recognize some well-known international acts like Washed Out, Craft Spells and Wild Nothing.

🎧 Pretty Crimes – ‘Petals’

Electronic-pop outfit Pretty Crimes hail from Chapel Hill, North Carolina. We discovered their latest single, Petals, late last night and now we want to share this rather infectious pop number with you.

📹 TBT: Junior Boys – ‘In The Morning’ (2006)

Let’s take a trip down memory lane today with Canadian indie-electronic legends, Junior Boys. Their track, In The Morning, was such a big deal for us back in the mid-2000s, it was included on one of our very first mixtapes. These mixtapes shaped the sound of The iM over the years and so did the duo from Hamilton.
