It’s no secret that we’re big fans of Toronto psych-pop outfit Phèdre here at The iM. So, we were pleasantly surprised when the duo dropped some new music on the masses recently in the form of a seven song EP. Most of the material was recorded back in 2013 when they released their debut effort, GOLDEN AGE.
“ETERNA is inspired by the processes of fracturing continuums and collectively transcending. We hope you enjoy it, and that it may provide some imagination and primal escape in these uncertain times. Thank you for listening to our artistic expressions.”
Now it’s time for you to check out ETERNA in the embed below… we’re all over the title-track, ECLIPSED and a rather hazy cover of Iggy Pop‘s The Passenger. The band is giving the EP out as a free download but are asking people to donate to Black Legal Action Centre; a worthy cause to say the least.
