Affect Display is the moniker of Toronto electronic music producer Damien Smith. Just today, we came across his new video for Until The Light Hits The Door and let’s just say this thing has been on repeat ever since. It’s a real atmospheric number that will take you on a musical journey you won’t soon forget. The track is included on his debut album Animal Drift Animal.
Smith describes the song: “Like a phoenix rising from the ashes life is born into the world. Light hits one of the infinite doors from which before had come darkness and life emerges. It’s all at once uncomfortable, painful, wondrous, new and beautiful.“
