We last told you about Ottawa indie-pop outfit dad sports in mid-August when they dropped the infectious video for name & place. Well, the band is back with a brand new song and video and we want to share it with you.
“Alex and I were hanging in our basement while rocking haircuts that our exes gave us when we came up with the idea for the song,” says dad sports’ Miguel Plante. “It’s about how those haircuts outlasted the relationships.”

After a few short years and a very long 2020, Ottawa’s Peach Kelli Pop is back on our radar again with an upcoming EP. Just recently, she shared the first track off the record, Cut Me Off. The song is as infectious as it gets (in true PKP style) and is sure to get more plays in the coming days here at The iM.

He’s the co-founder of Royal Mountain Records, member of supergroup Anyway Gang, he fronted Ottawa indie-rockers Hollerado and also has a solo project under the Mav Karlo moniker. Just recently he released a new single (and video) and we want you to know about it.
“Whether it’s a hypomanic episode or a depression, the feeling at the time is so all encompassing and real that it seems like that is the only reality that I have ever known. I relish the times in between, the periods of stillness when I’m able to be fully present in the moment and able to interact with my environment and the people in my life with the confidence that comes with being in equilibrium.“
