San Diego’s Paul Mall doesn’t have much in the way of socials on the internet but maybe that’s the way he likes it. What he does have is his rather infectious style of music, and that’s all right with us.

Dream-pop outfit Saucer Eyes hail from the fine city of Toronto. Recently, the band uploaded their debut effort into cyberspace and we’re certainly glad they did. Fuzzy guitars over male and female vocals create an atmosphere reminiscent of early Slowdive with some Doppelgänger-era Curve thrown in the mix.
Take a listen to 2020 in the embed below and make sure you keep your eyes peeled for all things Saucer Eyes. As soon as we know more, you’ll be the first to know.

We’ve always been huge supporters of Stacey here at The iM, if only because she is really great at creating music. In case you’re not familiar with the singer/songwriter, today is as good a day as any to check out her new song, Far Away.
The video was shot in 16 mm film, which beautifully compliments the aesthetic of her look and surroundings. She describes the song as: “A dream existence where the sadness of the world is only a distant memory.”
Check it out in the embed and be sure to hit up the links below. Hopefully we’ll hear more from Stacey in the near future. In the meantime, enjoy this exceptional piece of work.
